New Music: Tokyo’s STANDOUT Unloads Two New Rippers

STANDOUT just dropped two new songs, and I needed to mention these, as I feel like this band deserves a lot more recognition.
‘Stick Together’ and ‘Define Yourself’ are available on all streaming platforms right now, and they are an absolute masterclass in classic, high-energy hardcore. If you’ve been craving that fast-paced sound, these tracks are exactly what your playlist needs.

"Stick Together"
The first track opens up with that raw, powerful Oi! sound. It’s got a massive, sing-along vibe that is practically begging for a crowded room full of stage dives.
Lyrically, this one is a pure tribute to the underground community. It tells a story we all know well - hitting the streets on a cold night, and finding your crew. It's a defiant anthem about unity,
holding the line with your people, and screaming back at a world full of lies. The vocals are raw and aggressive, but perfectly clear, making sure that message hits you right in the chest.

"Define Yourself"
The second track keeps the momentum rolling with a super classic, driving hardcore structure. The absolute highlight here are the moments where the heavy guitar punches through hard, shifting the track into an entirely new gear. It’s aggressive, tight, and hits like a brick.
The lyrics match that musical aggression perfectly. It’s a fierce call for individual agency and self-determination ("Don't let anyone deny you / Don't let society define you"). The song forces you to look inward and find the strength to win on your own terms, pushing the message that we are ultimately defined by our choices, not by external judgments or what others think.

STANDOUT has always known how to balance old-school speed with a heavy, modern execution, but these new tracks sound crisper and harder than ever. They aren't just playing hardcore; they're keeping the spirit completely alive. Go stream this immediately and turn the volume all the way up!
