It is already a New Year, so I looked back at the best releases of 2022.
The last year was great and I hope everyone had a good one.
Have a look and catch up with some of 2022 best stuff out in HC if you didn't get a chance yet.
Here's some of my favourites, some very subjective choices, in no particular order...Enjoy!
1. Let's start with our own, Chopstick's second release of KRUELTY's "Immortal Nightmare".
250 limited edition CDs, including a bonus track - the demo version of Narcolepsy, which was never released in the EU & UK before. Heavy as fuck!

2. Acute - "Who Wants War" (Discography 1986 - 1989 2xLP+CD).
Released by F.O.A.D Records. Classic, old school hardcore punk from Sapporo City - you just need it in your collection.

3. Kandarivas - "Blood Surgical Death".
Another kick-ass release from F.O.A.D. on blood-red and black vinyl. The album was originally released in 2021, but it's out on vinyl for the first time and it's absolutely deserved.
"13 tracks of punishing fierce grindcore combined with Japanese tribal/experimental breakdowns and the use of ancient traditional instruments, creating a unique psychotic sound all of its own".

4. TRUE FIGHT and their 7" "We're going We don't need roads".
Released in April via Fired Stomp Records. Strong!!!

5. Decasion and their first full length album "Instilling the Decayed Obsession".
A total banger of an album!
You NEED to hear it if you haven't yet. It has everything - hardcore, death metal, geniusly combined together beatdown parts with insane drumming and guitar solos. And sick vocals.
For a debut album, they really set a high standard.

6. Deserve to Die - S/T debut album of this young, killer grindcore band from Takamatsu and Okayama.
The album was released on CD digipack and will be on vinyl soon via Spanish and German labels. I only regret we couldn't work on this release together this time.. Give them a spin though.

7. Brave Out debut LP "World's Rot"...just stop here. Listen to the album. Appreciate it. Kick ass stuff!

8. HETH/Only the Last Song split "Intentions".
I mentioned it before and I will do it again.
Definitely the highlight of the year.

10. I need to finish this list with the pre-release of Envy's "Seimei".
I don't need to introduce these post-hardcore legends. They never disappoint.
Can't wait for the vinyl edition, which is limited to 100 (!) copies only via China based label, New Noise and is out in March 23. Don't miss it!
